About Kumar Sathianathan, M.D.
Kumar Sathianathan, also known as Dr. Kumar to his staff, colleagues, and patients, received his medical degree in India in 1989. He completed his Internal Medicine residency in New York.
After working several years in Georgia, Dr. Sathianathan moved to Georgetown in 1999 and started his own Internal Medicine practice.
Dr. Sathianathan is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He and his wife have two daughters. He spends his free time reading and playing with his dogs.
